Nice cars. Is it me or do cars overseas always look cleaner, even older ones?
Only reason why my cars look cleaner is because I washed them before I took the pics. :=):

Yeah, that's about it! It only looks great, but this was the crappiest BMW I have ever driven in my life. I thought my auntie's 1983 525 was bad, but this 318iM took the cake. It also lacked power and sounded more like a 1984 1400 Datsun Pulsar, than a BMW. I bought the 318iM for around R3000-00, and 3 months later sold it for R27000-00!! :coolShake:

Great intro mate. Sorry to hear that you are not enjoying it here. We are fast approaching our 1 year anniversary in Auckland and we love it. I can honestly say that we have had zero problems with people being rude or with any crime. I think everyone has a different idea of what "greener on the other side" means, and I firmly believe that mindset has a great deal to do with it also. It's a matter of perspective.
Thanks. You said it...you "are fast approaching our 1 year anniversary in Auckland and we love it."...and that is how we felt for the first 5 or so years. Everything was new, clean, safe, Kiwis were friendly, welcoming, etc etc. But then we started getting to know some and they felt threatened and say "We are stealing/taking their jobs, and we should go back to our country!". If one thinks about it....they (the Kiwis - and I've said this to those who say we should go back) are the reason we are HERE today. More than that I will not say, otherwise I'll be told I'm a racist (even though we only hang out - yes, visit, eat, drink, hug and shake hands - with Coloured and Black South Africans here).
