Jejeje sorry, I'm new and I'm knowing the forum.
My question is:
I have a engine n54 (135i) which clearly is manual and I would like to make an inquity to the owners of these engines, or someone who has knowledge.
In a drag race at how many r.pm. do you shift the gear
I understand that this type of cars comes with two turbos that handles a range of r.p.m of the load of turbos, I'm going to explain better: Between 1200 r.p.m and 5400 r.p.m the turbos are loaded and actived but then 5500 r.p.m the turbos are downloaded and clearly I'm not going to get the same power and efficency. I have driven my car between 1200 and 5400 and I think came out well with the times, but I would like to know their opinions, because I haven seen some people who take the cars untill 7000 r.p.m. What do you think and what's the best range of r.p.m to get the best power ?
