New member - 125i

Hi guys

Took delivery of my 125i last week so I'm now a member of the club! Ordered it from the factory, the 2 and a bit month wait was a killer!

Estoril blue M sport pack 3 door with 18" wheels
8 speed sport auto with steering wheel paddles
Xenons
Harman/Kardon
Front/rear PDC
Sunroof
Alcantara/cloth (This is flipping awesome! Much more unique than the black leather option)
Interior comfort package with extended light package, auto dimming mirror, climate control
Extended bluetooth

Thanks! My mom actually took delivery of the 528i a month ago (also a crazy long spec I worked out for her) so the garage is full of new car smell!

Now to get that jag swapped for something with a proper badge on it :rollsmile:

Re the leather just for something different. Had black leather on my old car and pretty sure I'll have it again on many cars in the future. I wouldn't want this on a car with a lot of passengers and heavy use etc, but as a 3 door there wont be much of that!

Agonized over the decision a bit because I wasn't able to find any cars with this combo to see in person (all of course had black leather!) The alcantara has blue stitching which matches the trim line on the dash and obviously the exterior so it's all colour coded! Also a great feel to it. I must say I'm happy with my decision!

It also doesn't get hot in summer and presumably wont get cold in winter.

a whole car interior covered with Alcantara is from 30 to 50 percent lighter compared to leather.
