Welcome bud. Great choice of car. Post some pics once you've taken delivery.

Thank you :D

Unfortunately pics will have to wait. The front bumper and the bonnet needs replacing, which is why I came here for advice. I would like to get a custom kit made straight away :p

Welcome :=):

Nice choice on the model of BMW. I think that the E46 / E39 era models where the last of the truly great quality BM's with fit and finish. the newer models of course have many more features and electronics but for my money the quality of trim and fitment isn't as good as those older beauties.

A 330d should give you many happy miles if you look after her:=):

You know, I used to have a similar opinion. However my E60 at 215k km is proving that statement wrong every day of the week :cthulhu:

These cars are beauties. It's a cherry ride if you look after it. It's going to need some cosmetic work but I'm fine with that.

The previous owner's brother had an oopsie and smashed it. The owner said he is not going to pay and fix a car that he did not smash and his brother can't afford to fix it so I offered to take the car if I can just take over the payments and fix the car myself.

There's only 40K outstanding on the car so it's a win. Both the motor and the turbo was replaced last year as well so I'm confident she has plenty of miles in her :D

The owner says the ECU has been remapped as well. The car also has a downpipe done. Apparently it's pushing out 600NM torque at the moment. Will take her for a dyno when the cosmetics has been addressed and see what's what.

welcome. nice buy.
sure that 600nm will keep the smile on your face. the 330d's make a ton of power with minimal mods.
