Hi all, newbie here.

Just bought an e36 320i automatic, the price was so low it will make you cry. The lady i bought it from has moved to USA 2 years prior and just wanted to get rid of it. When I saw the car it was love at first sight. For a car that was standing under a tree for 2 years it is in very good shape. We took it to the local Bimmer Shop and the guys were all stoked, they got her running in less than a day and she sounds great - std exhaust but that will change.

She is a bit dirty in the picture but she is a looker.
I then went is search of a new set of feet, but man are they expensive here in Nam 6K just for the rims and then it would be aftermarket. Drove around looking for something then decided to go the the salvage yard to look for some spares, and lo and behold a set of 17" laying around for about 5 years now, paid 1.8K for all four. :D

Well I will post up pics as the build goes along.
Greetings from Namibia

Welcome.

You should speak to "Baz" he is also based in Namibia and has an extensive contact base with spares.

Thanks man I will do so, I have already contacted some guys in SA about spares and everything is freely available for the car, just don't buy it from the local BMW Dealership, man they are crazy expensive.

Thanks much appreciated. I have found some awesome gear for this car. She is by no means a monster (110KW) but she will turn a head or two - more show car than anything else.

Rims resprayed, awesome job by Jacques - these things look like new.

Here they are on the car

The basics has been done, next the car will go to the upholstering guys to have the rear seat fixed where it seperated on the stiching, headliner recovered and rear cover relined. Then off for a new windshield at Davis. :tease:
