Evening Gents & Ladies,

I'm Gregg - Semi new here - more browser than poster,
Have owned a few BMW's in my life time - but completely new to the X series,
Recently purchased a 2008 BMW X3 2.0d Manual 6 speed, with 150 000km on the clock with a FSH - it has a bug which allowed me to snatch it up cheaper,

Now finding that bug - thats why I'm here.

I'm losing coolant - but Cannot seem to see where its leaking - also take a while to start up which points towards a head gasket or EGR cooler - which both have been checked,

We are removing the injectors whilst the coolant system is pressurized in an attempt to see if the pressure drops on the infected cylinder...

Any other places to check or things to test - would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats!

Water and coolant dont mix ?

I'm not following - Coolant system - the water/anti-freeze mix which circulates through the engine to keep it cool. Unless we're off on our terminology?
