New guy fault code reading help

Hi Guys,

I am new to forum although i have owned a 325 (almost Stg 1) e90 AUTO EXEC for over a year now. Never registered here but often follow activity on this here forum.

Recently i have been experiencing miss fires on cold start and rough idling when in gear and A/C is on. When going WOT i don't have any problems, shes goes like stink but i know things like this will only get worse.

I have read a lot of forums w.r.t. swapping plugs and coils to find the faulty element and i don't have a problem doing that myself but it would help to know which cyl(s) to target.

So is there anyone in the Jhb area that could assist with checking for possible fault codes?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Starting with reading the codes is a good start.

Yes, if your plugs need replacing swop all of them out and the same with coils. The others will soon follow the bad one that you removed...that is IF it is the problem.
