New Guy Alert - 335i performance package

Hi there, been driving a 2011 335i auto for the last six months and was wondering what exactly the M Sport M Perfomance package consist of. Apparently the previous owner had installed the performance package after the initial purchase as far as I can gather.

Could anyone please shed some light in the right direction..?

Loving the car, it's more than what I've ever dreamt of in a car - I've had two 320i's manual before this one and the difference in driver experience is night and day.

There should be a little plaque in your engine bay that says performance power kit.

It's around 240-250kw and 450nm, if I remember correctly, could be wrong.

*gulp*

i have never owned an auto before so still getting used to the paddle shift in sport mode. here are some observations so far:
- auto box had upshifted on two separate occasions during steady acceleration but then shifts back down again, almost as if it was as confused as a chameleon in a box of smarties
- sometimes i hear a noisy pulley on cold start in the morning, something i will get the dealership to have a look at during next inspection service in february
- i have to fight the urge to just floor it on a daily basis, this car just begs for more - like a racing horse in an open field, the more you give it the more it wants... zen and the art of self-control

I too suffer from this urge with my 135i, I am sure there are others as well.....
