New forum member with BMW e90 320i

Hi all,

New member on the forum, i had an account for few years and always followed the posts as its always interesting seeing other peoples posts and experiences. In December last year i finally made the switch from my VW Citi Sport 1.6i to a 2007 E90 BMW 320i (pictures enclosed).

The experience has definitely been memorable and now that i'm a fanatics member i'm certainly looking forward to many forum posts and shares.

The car is fairly stock, i added the 18 inch sportspack rims with low profile narrow wide tyres, m-performance rear spoiler and recently fitted the fog lights. The next upgrade on the cards is either a Eibach lowering kit or i managed to source a ac schnitzer body kit, however i'm two minded on fitting it as it is quite aggressive (let me now your thoughts).

Congrats on the new ride, dead sure you are going to enjoy the ride.

If i may ask 2 things out of interest:

1. Did you add the fog light afterwards, so the car never came out with them. If this is the case, how did you do this and what was required to do this? I am sure there is a few of us who also wants to maybe do that retrofit.

2. Where did you get the body kit and how much was that?

Car will look great once the kit is on. :rollsmile:

im sure urs is manual! .. i have the auto for local running around and its a donkey to say the least ..

The fog lights i bought off bid or buy, they are second hand but original. You get decent after market ones but make sure its the "depo" brand. Because the car didn't come with the wiring i had an auto electrician hook it up to my park lights (with a relay switch).Works fine, no warning lights.

The kit was imported by a friend, but pm me for more information.

Its an absolute pain, the steptronic is a waste too. Next car definitely will stick to the manual.
