Hi guys,

This is my first post as I just picked up my F30 320i M-Sport on last week.

Car is absolutely amazing! (coming from a Golf 6 Gti)

Extras include:

M-Sport Package
19" Wheels
HK Sound
Front and rear PDC
Sunroof

The HK sound is truely candy for your ears and the M-Sport suspension is absolutely smooth. Power is great, I was expecting much less from it and it does seem to have a bit of a punch when put into Sport+ mode.

I have a few questions tho:

1. I do not have the extended lights package but when i set the ambient light to "sport" theres a nice white hue in the car, not very bright tho. I notice when unlocking the car with the key fob, the white hue is much brighter but the moment I open the door, the reading lights change to the normal yellow light. Is there any way to keep the reading lights white?

2. What is the fuel consumption supposed to be like on these cars? i do very short trips, 70% of the time in Eco-Pro mode but the consumption is a thirsty 14.4l/100km. Lowest i've got it down to is 13.6. Is there maybe a break in period after which the consumption will drop?

All in all I love every bit of the car and there are not too many on the road so it defiantly turns some heads

Stunning ride! Congrats. Best colour too :inlove:
Do you not feel the lack of power compared to your GTI?
Consumption should drop once the engine is run in but from 13.6l/100km I don't see it dropping so dramatically to factory's claimed 6.2 or thereabout.

At times I do, and plus i had a lot of mods done to my gti, I dyno'd it at 200wkw and 454nm torque at the wheels. But honestly, everything else about the f30 makes up for it, looks, ride quality, space and its turbo charged as well so its not so bad

Welcome! Stunning ride. :=):

We went to look at a Blue Estoril F30 320i M-Sport today...the car has plus/minus 1000 km on. Consumption was also 14L+/100 in short driving distance.

Quite heavy if you ask me. But I'm sure it wil drop in time.

The Blue Estoril is lovely but I don't like the blue strip in the interior of the M-Sport so much

The Estoril blue on the car is absolutely stunning and i guess the blue strip on the inside of would go better with it, but yeah, if the car is white in my instance, it looks a bit out of place...but everything else that the car is equipped with really takes the focus off the blue strip if you get what im saying.

Im much more of an audio person and the quality of the sound system just makes me oblivious to everything else :joy:

What I really wanted but couldnt get was the enhanced smartphone integration and extended bluetooth options. Is there any way to get this retrofitted? I would love to receive my text msgs on the iDrive but since i have the basic system, theres no Office menu.

On another note, the HK system sounded really flat and not worth the R10k price tag but I searched online for the equaliser settings and it made a HUGE difference to the sound. I find myself listening to music that I dont even like just because it sounds so good lol

Can this EQ setting only be applied if you have HK? How do you apply this setting?

The standard sound system doesnt have an equilizer option so I dont think so. I think it can be applied with the Hi-Fi loudspeaker system as well tho

Now I would love to see Blue Estoril outside with the M sport but the same red strip and red stitching inside as on the sport line.

Or at least also blue stitching on the steering wheel and seats to go with the blue strip.

That would look good as well. I don't know why they only offer the blue strip or gloss black with m-sport. Well at lease the m-sport keyfob matches the blue strip:biglol:

What a beauty. Love the M Sport trim!

Congrats!

I never knew consumption would be high as my 325, interesting.
I thought it would be in single digits?

p.s Some hot rides in the garage
997 Carrera
e92 M
New Z4?

Looking awesome! Manual or auto?

Consumption is higher than I would have thought, but it depends on the driving and I reckon it should improve as the engine loosens up! Also, like with the 328i, the engine should be still running in a slightly detuned state for the first 2500 km or so...

Auto...thanks, ill give it some time and see how it goes. I've been driving really easy just to see how much i can get the consumption down to. Hopefully it'll decrease
