Hi Guys just bought a 2000 e46 320d a few months ago. Loving it so far. Except power loss issues at 2500rpm :eek:mgwaiting:

Hi Ishmael, welcome, you wouldn't happen to be ex Zim would you?

Power loss could be boost leaks, are you hearing any whooshing, whistling noises?

Yes. There's some whoosh sounds when I step on the gas.. Thanks I will check it out and post update.

Hi and welcome. Can you describe the issue more?
Well. Each time I drive it does not rave past 2500rpm. I tested the MAF sensor it seems fine. I removed to check if the DPF was blocked and it's not because the car seems was already deCATed (there's no DPF/Catalytic Converter). When I am at 2500rpm it just comes to a halt. As if I am slamming on emergency brakes..

Car now ok. Turns out to be a Boost Leak at Pipe from intercooler to intake. FIBRE glassed the area and now car has gained a tremendous amount of power.
