Hmm,amazing specs, amazing interior BUT the exterior looks awkward.no man, that doesnt remind me of the old 8 series.the typical supercar look would've been better

I have a car in my head that can do 0-100 in 1.8 sec, but I wont build it.
Pretty much whats gonna happen with this.

Its a pity hey Calypso.

There is so much potential out there for fast cars but the manufacturers never pay attention to the consumers...

I like the concept... the smoothness and angryness as such of it...

But am I the only person here who thinks BMW have taken cues off other super cars to create their own? The inside is the only unique thing.

Outside Im seeing Maserati, Aston Martin... Uno (The eyelid things) hehe

By the time you get to drive one, none of this will matter, and you'll love it. and they know that. so all this talk is pointless.
the car is timeless. 462km/h .. there are very good reasons why it looks like it looks, there's allot of engineering and physics behind it, more reason for that than to compromise loss for cosmetics... bmw is the ultimate driving machine... its a legend, a master of its arts, and that car is probably damn good looking in real life. pictures don't do it.

I dunno, to me it just does not look like a car thats capable of 462km/h. I know you shouldnt base the physics on looks, but thats how I feel.

you know what... a big part of me wants to agree with you, however theres that little something that says i cant. I have always been a die-hard bmw fanatic, but i am trying very hard to keep an open mind and see things for what they ARE and not what i want them to be...

ok, so a 6l naturally aspirated v12 supercar/supersaloon/hypersaloon with 4 dours producing 900bhp and and 965nm, probably weighing in at 2 ton?

bmw are amongst the best if not the very best engine manufactures, their engines are nearly robust, built to last for thousands and thousands of miles/km's. they rev f*cking high and always have smooth power delivery. Never have they gone for the most bhp or torque in their respective classes, but instead they went for a complete package.

maybe i am horribly wrong, but i just dont see this happening, not until all the bmw engineers get really piss drunk and forget what their purpose and desire is.... to build drivers cars, and not some 750 mile an hour dragcar

perhaps a 1.2 ton, rear wheel drive, mid mounted V10 (S65) driver focused car (who gives a * about the passengers)... 600 horsies, 650nm, remove most of the electronic aids and keep it simple.
That to me would be a bmw supercar of note

^ but i guess i can only keep on dreaming... :cursin:

hey man, whatever turns your wheels bro, but trust me, you might not like it now, I can assure you that if you had to drive this thing, your perceptions and emmotions about it will change. If I see it coming up behind me, I'll definetly move out the way, it looks angry.

I love the syling and that is what the 7 series should have looked like. Lovely lines and then they go an hash it all up with that side indicator...
