I think I'm going to get the 328i. I don't mind going from auto back to manual. The 328i already has things such as the 18" wheels standard so the only option I want to add is the xenon lights (I've hardly ever used the sunroof in any of my cars.
I feel its worht spending 15 - 20k extra to get the 328i - with the only difference (appart from the engine etc.) being the gearbox.

Until its driven in the real world. Expect at least 10l / 100km and you will have to drive like a granny to achieve that.
I give my E46 320d horns quite often and average 7lt per 100km with 50% town driving. Keep that 328i in boost for a while during a down trip and see what happens to the figures.
