Hi guys, can any one tell me what I can sell my 2011 335i N55 for.

BMW Ceadar BMW just fitted new imported motor from Germany got 2000km on it now, brand new automatic gearbox, that's the whole assembly, new injectors new spark plugs, then they did a new steering rack and new radiator. If any one can give me an idea please. Thanks

P.S Can email the photo's with the motor in the crate still.

When I bought the car secondhand there was a noise coming from under the car, so booked the car in at Ceadar BMW and they started replacing part after part to find the noise, at the end they did new motor and gearbox and the noise was gone.

I don't thing you'll get any "extra" cash past the normal value of the car, precisely for the same reason why you want to sell it.

My advice is keep the car, you've been through the whole process with it and know that you can drive it with a piece of mind for a while to come.

Agreed with above. Plus the new owner will be suspecting that the dealership didn't tighten all the bolts properly and not fit all of them back (this most likely happened)

Keep the car, and enjoy the 2 year warranty on the new engine!!

+1 keep the car

Infact a comment of this nature will affect your resale value negatively by R5-10K at most if you trade the vehicle in.

With a private sale and a knowledgeable buyer it shouldn't have any affect

Cool thanks all for the feed back, I was going to keep it just wanted to see what the new motor and all will do to the price. Not sure but i think this is the newer spec as well, that is the reason why they did the injectors. My old one's didn't fit. awesome cars, thanks guys.

I agree on keeping it, it is a 335i after all! :coolShake:

My F30 320d also had its engine replaced with a new unit from Germany, no affect really as car was on plan and also sold back to BMW under plan.
