Need help e34 540i

Hi gents. My car all of a sudden started leaking water when its hot. It leaks from underneath somewhere by the gearbox. I have checked all pipes and they seem fine. What could it be?
The water also bubbles when the expansiin tank is open.

Likely that a heater hose has ruptured.

Have a look at the back of the motor after removing the sound deadening cover.

It could also be the dreaded valley pan leak, you typically see the coolant leaking down the back of the engine over the bellhousing.

Im with Peter on this one - My e34 was getting hoter than usual, and one day after a long drive - parked the car, and opened the bonnet...only to hear a hissing noise coming from a tiny leak on one of the heater pipes entering the firewall, I cleaned, refitted and tightened that sucker up,and never had an issue since.

Hopefully it helps...is it a slow or fast leak?

It could be aircon water condensation as that drain pipe is routed by the gearbox. Just my 2c's, seeing that summer is finally here and we are using our aircons again!
