Need advice on buying e92 M3

It should still be extendable to the end of this year (well based on DoM or delivery,can never remember), and to do an extension on time vs mileage is a lot cheaper. You've got nothing to lose!
Notice the towel on the passenger seat? Could be a very fastidious owner.

I've got a trade in so I don't think this one will be an option!otherwise I would LOVE to check this one out.im gonna ask the local BMW dealer if they might consider buying my current 325i.then maybe...

Once you drive an M (speaking for myself here,so no offence at anyone else on this forum) you'll battle to drive any other BMW. There may be quicker ones, but an M is exactly that, an M. It becomes an addiction :roflol:

So I went for the test drive and I was blown away with the performance of the car- obviously seeing it's an M3!

But on closer inspection I noticed that the car wasn't as clean as I initially had thought.few minor marks on the paint job.not a dealbreaker but still.

What really disappointed me is the lack of ANY extras!none whatsoever!!!my current 325 is almost fully spec'ed and I think once you get used to the luxuries it's hard to go without them(any feedback on this??).i plan on keeping the M for 3-5 years and eventually the lack of extras is going to piss me off!so yeah I'm rather gonna be a bit more patient and wait for the right one to come along than rush into things and maybe regret it later.

So if anyone knows of someone looking for a e92 325 m-sport let me know.it will go on the for sale forum shortly!

@Bugger I gave this guy a call and had a very nice long chat with the guy!he seems to be a meticulous BMW enthusiast!by the sound of things he truelly loves his car and takes as much care of it as I do mine.
He even offered to keep it for me for a few weeks to see if I can get mine sold first.as he is in no rush to sell it seems.

Will keep the thread updated as things go.

@Demontweaked this list is what the car DOES'NT have: no PDC front or rear.no 19" wheels.no sat nav.no Harmon kardon sound.no M-dynamic.nothing!
It's not a dct so I can't fault it for that.i guess the original owner just bought a bogstandard M3 finish and klaar.nothing wrong with that just that extras are always a nice bonus, no?especially on the used market!

Manual and DCT options were the same, if a car is DCT doesnt mean it has all the other options. (just fyi).


Mine is manual and has all the above except MDM which as i stated i dont care for.

1 thing I have noticed is that the DCT has a taller overall ratio in top gear, so it could POTENTIALLY have a slightly better cruising fuel consumption.

The manual revs +/- 3400 RPM @ 130 where the DCT is slightly under 3000 if I remember correctly
