Hi guys

Where is the cheapest place to get new 335i Vanos solenoids?

Have you tried cleaning the units.

If so, i would suggest getting these parts from the dealer.

I did clean them.

I said the cheapest, don't want to take a loan out on my house to buy from bmw lol

i have a used pair that work perfectly for sale...changed out while troubleshooting a fault. turned out to be some bad wiring.

Also worth remembering to swap the solenoid positions iow place the bottom one on the top and the top on the bottom.
It sometimes will prolong the usefull life of the solenoid
