N54 Turbo upgrade- Stallion

Have any fanatics upgraded their turbos by stallion , if so, please share your experience. The upgrade is basically a bigger compressor wheel.

It's mixed . Some positive and negative but nobody with actual first hand experience. I would like to speak to someone who has/had the upgrade done. It's obviously not that common. I recall seeing an article in Sns where a red 335i was featured with this upgrade, can't find the magazine.

Two other turbo repair/upgrade outlets suggest that it's best to recondition to standard because the gains are not that great, but 25wkw is not bad(Stallion claim)

I've had my turbos upgraded to what I presume is what Stallion would do, not sure who did them, it was not Stallion, but apparently the gains will also be around 25 kw. Unfortunately I'm still getting my car to run properly, so I can't provide with proper feedback, but as soon as she's healthy I'll be able to let you know.

WOW is all i can say. I have never felt power like that before,definitely an eye opener and a set of fresh underwear for me.
Without a doubt big turbo is the way to go for N54

When purchasing something its always good to get satisfied customer opinions and reviews . I was unsuccessful in getting this for any local hybrid turbos .

They are plenty local companies trying to hybrid these turbos. All of which has failed. Pop in at Fastec and you will see a few n54 turbos with the compressor wheels changed lying there for repairs.

I spent a year researching turbo upgrades before I went single turbo.
