No center cats. The smoking started when they were removed. I thought of putting them back but i dont have them anymore.

I did not think that removing them were going to cause this issue.

So PCV valve have been replaced and im still getting white smoke when i stop.

Parts replaced - Turbos, PCV and valve cover gasket.

Can old oil in the pipes and cooler be causing the car to still smoke? There is quite a lot of oil in the charge pipe etc.

I dont know what else to do.

Any help will be appreciated guys.

Has the car still got its centre cats in ?

Removed my throttle pipe to cancel out turbos\dirty pipes\dirty cooler causing smoke. Still smoking :(

Now im guessing valve stem seals is the problem.

just so that you know....

If you take those turbos to BMW they will give you refurbished turbos for around 13.7k for a set.

Just make sure who ever fits the turbos for you know what they are doing.

Not sure if this is cheaper or more than rattle repair and core replacement etc but thought I would put it out there.

Do you know if they give you a Refurbished pair with the updated wastegates? like the 09-10 models? or the same shit 06-08 wastegate that always fails and starts to rattle.

I have heard lots of guys running 20+ psi on the stock turbos with updated wastegates with no issues yet... no wastegate rattle even after thousands of km's on high boost. That alone sounds worth it to me.... R13700 is not bad at all.

I am not sure if they give an updated wastegate but I certainly hope they do! :eek:mgwaiting:

Have you checked the condition of your Cover? its prone to cracking and is quite an expensive, replacement part as BMW will sell you it to you complete with a new PCV

Update

Took of my pollen filter cover. Took the car for a drive with my aircon on. The same white smoke that smells like burning oil came into my cabin. Valve cover gasket was changed so now im pretty sure its the valve cover itself or somewhere else the breather system must have an issue.

Can you guys tell me if there are any other breather pipes etc that could be causing this?
