Exhaust will be done in time. Should free up power at the top

You not far off from 600whp Bro. Pop some 110octane in the tank and dyno.

The turbo and manifold is off the car. A new manifold is being created to help spool. Now that everything in the kit is finalised the new manifold will be TIG welded by one of the best in the business. Then its off to be ceramic coated. New 21 row oil cooler is going in as well as a new CAI sytem. Can't wait to get the car back!

if you don't mind sharing how much has this single turbo build cost you so far? Just a ballpark...

The kit is fully customizable according to your needs. It will take a stock n54 to 400wkw easily with headroom to push it 485wkw. Coastal figures should be a little better. Right now the kit is around 80k. That's including labour and tuning. The kit included quite a few imported parts: Garrett turbo, tail bov, precision wastegate etc so it may fluctuate with the exchange rate.

The new manifold is going in shortly. As well as new heat shields.
Will keep you posted.

My Water pump thermostat has packed up.
I am looking at after market performance pumps with a controller as an alternative.
Does anybody here have any experience using these pumps?

The owner (KrS24) of this hardcore machine took me for a quick spin down the road a few months back, its seriously potent and scared the crap out of me! Been a very long time since I felt such a powerful car underneath me, I wish the owner all the best in the development of this kit.:cartel:

The new manifold is in. and with everything else the same we made 509whp on map 2 (17 psi) :cartel:

The car feels insanely fast now!

I still need to fit the new oil cooler and meth. Then the fuel pump will go in followed by the exhaust.

A part of me wants too stop the power mods and focus on the suspension and drive train. but.....

Ran 259km/h on the 1km yesterday. I am pretty sure that's the record for the x35's but I stand to be corrected.

The car misbehaved on my first run with meth. Ran using the 20psi map as it was most stable. No meth. For some reason I'm getting miss fire with meth. Will test later this week.

1/4 mile time where bad. My first time on track. Struggle to get the launch right with semi's. I'm still with the stock clutch so didn't want to push to hard of the the line.

The goal now is to get in the 270's. Once I get there I may start focusing on the 1/4 times.
