Was getting a squeak from the brakes last week so I pulled the X3 onto the lift and removed the wheels to inspect the brakes front and rear. Rear pads were just about finished but hadn't contacted the pad wear sensor just yet, front pads had a small amount to go before sensor contact too. Ordered new Textar pads for front and rear and measured the disc thickness, both front and rear were on the limit of minimum thickness so I ordered 4 new discs and carrier bolts. Fitted the lot this morning.:chef:

Oil service time again.

Other things added recently, I got the E46 boot carpet from that recently stripped 330i on the forum, it was filthy and oily but after alot of elbow grease it came clean and now Im using it to protect the X3's boot floor. Excuse the dirty interior pics as I was away the long weekend in Parys for fishing and paintball and haven't had a chance to clean the interior yet.

Lastly, a few months back I changed out the mechanical seats for E46 electric coupe seats. The added bonus of the couple seats is the fold forward position which gives me more space in the back to load large items. This X3 is now my daily workhorse and makes regular trips to scrapyards and such.
