Just one little fix today. The side repeaters had been fitted upside down and due to the shape of the hole in the fender they were really stuck in there, after carefully extracting them without damaging them I was able to swap them round so they are now in the correct orientation, tick another thing off the list thank you.

Fuel consumption on the obc is in the high 11's now but we are getting more mileage per tank, weird. That leads me to believe the OBC takes its reading from the MAF.
In comparison to Jiggy's X3 which is sitting around the mid 14's I do think there is something wrong with his or maybe because mine is still running on 2.5lt software. Time will tell.

I know on the older minis you could set a scale for the fuel consumption. Might have something to do with that.

Since day one the wife has complained that the X3 seats are uncomfortable in comparison to her 330i's seats. I said I would keep an eye out for something decent to replace them, I came right today, E63 M6 front seats, they run on the same frames as E46 M3 so they will bolt in. I will first dye them black before I install them.

Got the software updated in CT and it's dropped to low 13's now... Phew!!

Thank you Spiro, i am urgently looking for e46 m3 black headrests. Now that the wife has seen and sat in the seats she wants me to have them dyed ASAP so they can be fitted.

Had some time off to strip the original M54B25 that came out the X3 to do the 3.0lt stroker conversion. It had apparently developed a misfire from sludge/poor maintenance and prompted Leonard to swap in a Japan Auto M54B30. Now once Im done refreshing this one it will go back into the X3 to keep the car matching numbers, the Japan Auto one will go into my brother's 525iT.
