Way is the Halsex kit?
Nice work man! I never want to meet this car on the road!

The Golf R already has a Haldex. This controls the All Wheel Drive or actually the rear diff of the car.

Stock the Golf R puts 80% power into the front wheels and 20% in the rear. Also called a 80/20 split. With the programmable Haldex I can switch between Stock(80/20), Sport(60/40), and Race (50/50)

So my one buddy with a Peugeot 207 GTI came to visit the weekend...

Here are some videos I made compliments of my buddy's GoPro.

What my car sounds like under full WOT

We stuck the GoPro on his hood and he rode behind me... Here are some quick vids

So you can't have the bias to the rear wheels like an R8? Not nice. I prefer the bias to the rear wheels like in an STi Scooby.

Still an awesome car though. One of my colleagues got his 3 weeks ago, and already has Revo S/W and DP's and exhaust and and and...

Putting 80% into the back would be cool...

However, the rear diff I reckon would suffer as I don't know if it can handle the strain...

whats the bias on the audis maybe there is a strong diff you can just swap in :)

R8 is biased to the rear...

but i have a feeling the R8 diff will not be cheap and probably not an easy swap may as well put the engine and full running gear

Lol! I think one could even consider just buying the R8 then. One of the rims on that car is worth R32k let alone what a diff will cost...

I would look at putting more power to the back might only need to change center diff :) you can save the R8 conversion for later...
