Ok Guys i noticed something yesterday i thought i was paranoid and this evening when i pulled into the garage i could hear the noise Clearly.

The Problem

When the car is in neutral and you press in the Clutch pedal Just befor you get to the bottom of the Floorboard (Clutch Fully pressed in) there is a awkward sound from the engine bay.

Im thinking the following Release bearing or Clutch Plate or Pressure Plate.

There is no rattle in the Pedal what so ever and gear shifts is as Smooth as always. No Error Codes received

What do you guys think.

Its a worrying Noise and Clearly not the same as when i bought it.

and most of All Estimated Cost of release bearing and Clutch Pressure plate

Car is a 2006/7 320D

Any advice would be appreciated

My E90 320i made a noise like that. BMW replaced the dual mass flywheel, pressure plate and a new clutch under MP @ 90k kms. Car was killing clutches though. :thumbdo:

car is not under motorplan :fencelook:

The clutch was slipping though and the car was jerking very badly to the point where it was undrivable.. I had to sell the E90 as the BMW techs admitted there was clutch issues on the 320i manual - it overheats in traffic that's the end of it I was told..
Best of luck man, I would still rather fork out the cash amd drive a BMW anyday regardless!

My initial thought but after seeing that video by Flash my suspicion is the duel Mass Fly wheel

That sounds like the release bearing if you ask me. Mine used to sound exactly the same before I had the clutch plate, pressure plate and release bearing replaced.
