Very nice write up..I know the feeling of money being spent and when it breaks..happen to me a good couple of times..good luck with the rest of your build
its never easy to keep a project going and to keep throwing money at a car, but sometimes sentimental value keeps u motivated

What an epic comeback, school fees eish
great car with a great history (being a gift from your old man), amazing build and kudos to you for the time wasted, stress, lots of money, and patience.
I don't think I could have handled this much drama bud.
Glad the car is flying, must be busting span bigger cars on the road.
to be honest, when I look back at the time and money spent, I think this car thought me the meaning of patience and humbled me all in one go lol
yeah on the street its a handful but at the track she used to be really awesome to drive

Only Read this post now.
That's for sharing your story and the perseverance with the build.
Hope you keep this car for a long time.
All the best. Any updates since 2015?
thanks man .. so the most recent update is the car is been stripped..
currently in the process of removing the entire interior and windows, front and rear windscreen etc, want to get the car sand blasted and re-sprayed inside and outside, busy with getting quotes to have the car sprayed.. but this is going to be a loonggg longggg lonnnggg project as I have a house that demands most of my finances these days. so this is just something on the back burner when I'm bored in the garage..
