I always wanted to do this...finally got OEM orange lenses fitted on my car tonight. Will do proper adjusting this weekend. What do you guys feel about orange vs clear?

Sweet ride bud, both ambers and clears will work on the car.

Imo clears work better on lighter colours silver, white etc just a cleaner look.

Ambers look good on darker colours avus, green etc due to the contrast they provide.

Also you have blacked out grills, the ambers introduce another colour to the front of the car as opposed the the clears Which flow with the headlights...

Clears for me pls.

The Orange looks oudoos. You can notice it on the rear lights on an E36 especially, clears > 316i orange

It also now not matching with the rear

On a modded car like yours I have to say I prefer the clears. On a stock car with original everything the ambers are best but with the blacked out grills and black rims, and other additions on your car, clear definitely works better!:coolShake:

i always liked the clears but after 20years, a stock 2door m3 with orange indicators bring out the originality of the vehicle provided both lights look alike and not faded, clear is also awesome. makes it look more modern, u cant lose either way:praise:

I wonder how smoked lenses would look on silver with the black grill and black rims.
