Bud,

I have a brand new OEM fuel filter here for the N42, bought it when I did my wife's car, paid like 1k for the thing, and climb under the car, to find one that was dated 3 months old from the previous owner.

Make me an offer.

I have to say this. I have been driving my wife's 318 for the last week, what a lovely car, really.

Smooth, 9l/100, runs 140 without freaking out, can do more, but she is happy at 140.

I still hate the 4cyls, but have to admit, they go really nicely, when they are going :)

I love my car, very responsive, great to drive...
Z, I must be honest, I just spent my money on tints..
If I make you an offer you just laugh hahaha..
Ok here goes, don't laugh... R500 ?

You'll probably be better of keeping it for yourself

Shoe,

You have to read nicely to see that n in tints, cause the latter could be true as well. I have spent a great deal of money in my day on the latter.

As for the R500. Come fetch, its been sitting on my shelf for like 8 months, so what else am I going to do with it. These are good for like 75,000.

Where are you based?, I'm reading this on my phone and I kept writing t*ts, damn blackberry keyboards.. Are you sure R500 will cut it?

Hahahaha, that is too funny..

Sometimes when you just want to listen to 702 talk radio my sub gets somewhat annoying.. Also I was too lazy to remove the head unit to connect the remote wire.. The switch is very handy IMHO..

tell me: why did you install a on/off switch for the amplifier?

I did the same , else your battery just dies out

Try to automate this, just in case the amp being powered on and forgotten. I am pretty sure there is a split off unit available that allows you to draw the signal from one of the rear speakers and it also senses power on of the head unit. This will automatically control power to the amp...

Car looks good.

I dont get this: where did you connect the switch to if not the remote wire from the head unit.

please explain...

The remote will be sourced from direct power. In other words he can basically bridge the live with the remote with a switch in between to shut down the Amp.

Also done this on previous BMW installs.
