Yes most of them are.

you can imagine how the other party is feeling now.
He crashed his old scrap into a BMW and now has to pay.

His Cressida (One very Hard car) doesn't even have a scratch on it. And i am probably not going to get any cash out of this guy by the look of things

There is no where to park your car safely anymore

A few days ago I get a call from Netstar: "Sir, we cannot pick up your car, seems the car was moved, and signal lost. Are you with the car?"

I say no, I am on my say to a meeting, but will ask my security company to go pass and check things at home. An hour later they call again to follow up. I tell them security company confirmed that everything is fine at home. I leave in an hour, so it can wait till I get home.

Get home, open the garage, and there she sits. They test it again, and it picks the car up.

The incompetency that we have to deal with on a daily basis is becoming unreal

OP, did you apprehend the cressida owner or is it one of those just silently slip away and make sure no one sees. I am with you on this, that is negligence as you can clearly see the cressida, i.e guilty party, has not turned his steering wheel full locked while getting out of the parking lot. Must have been a 17 year old person

The casino security saw it happened and stopped him then came looking for me. I stayed pretty calm through the whole situation while fuming on the inside...

It was a middle aged man... all i got out of him was "I don't have money to pay" then i took him with me to the police station to give a statement.

I am clearly not getting anything out of this - i will let my insurance deal with it though

Doubt it, but hey, that's why you have insurance. Not worth it in cases like this to try get him, to pay for the repairs. Let you insurance deal with it.

My X was involved in 2 separate accidents and both times we had to pay the excess and nothing came from it....... some insurance companies is too lazy to do anything these days. But I hope you get something back from it. How can someone just say I dont have money but be so wreckless, should you not be more careful then in ensuring that you dont damaged your and anyone else's cars......should rip this guy one, hope your insurance sorts him out.

I had an incident, where my insurance recovered the money from the guilty party's insurance.
In cases like this, its also pointless for them to try get the money back, cause the guy don't have any to pay.

Yeah i agree - this is not a fight that i am willing to have.

I just spoke to the guy now - he is willing to pay me a measly R200 a month or go find a bumper himself because he doesn't believe that it costs that much
