Should any of the vendors out there would like to get involved in my build please feel free to contact me.

You made some unsubstantiated claims in Post #26. I responded. You are turning it into a "Terry" debate. I am not his masters voice.

Your thread started off with a request to vendors. But it seems you have things under control. All the best with the build.

Ps. You are not going to make 500rwhp with the mods listed in your post # 1

The offer still stands if you need any support:

"The most important point to remember in building your 1M project. The car has the exact same engine as in all the other N54s...there is nothing new about the motor. So those of us that have owned the N54 motor since 2006 can assist you with a whole lot of things right here on fanatics."

thanks i really appreciate it, i have owned a 135 before, i understand where you coming from and i have had jb as well + all the other stuff.

I do have something up my sleeve for this build, special to take the power up very nice but correct me if i am wrong, lets do some maths :

Original BHP : 335
Downpipe : 25
Mid pipe : 10
Intercooler (Debatable) : 20
JB4 : 80
meth : 25

Total there is around : 495

from there onwards its no longer bolt on mods, it now turns to pure enginering to derive the hidden potential.

Plus take into consideration the power to weight ratio after you remove some of the stuff, eg, OEM exhaust, Boot, Bonnet, Seats, ++++++++++++

You are correct in saying what you have, and i appreciate it.

Bud just make sure you are referring to BHP on the rear wheels as there is a HUGE difference in RWHP and RWBHP, im sure according to the maths you have done that the car no doubt will make 500BHP yes.

HP being at the wheels and BHP on the motor without losses calculated so i agree with you that the 1M will make 500 BHP.

Mine is at the dyno in 2 hours time and as per PM sent to you, you will have a good indication as where the car can improve as to what im using FBO.

Thanks man, would be great to see, pm me.
wht i plan on doing is a dyno afer every mod, to get a clear indication of each mod upgrade

The guys at Rennzport and ER actually sent me a mail back saying thank you to me for using there products, now thats what i call after market service.
They also have some great products they are developing at the moment and will keep us up to date with this.
Check out this link for HP figures for stock, meth and meth and FBO.

@bybyM3...thanks for your response. Let me know if we can assist.

I agree with your post # 42 and that the hardware also needs the tune to extract all the latent power. Meth after the tune is certainly the best bang for buck. If you are at altitude then i would consider the intercooler as well...everything that can assist to keep the heat in check. Its amazing how much power can be had with just a few bolt ons and the right fuel.

ed_z...1M will be very wicked once he completed all his mod plans. Cant wait to see how it performs on the track.

(i was obviously sleeping as i missed this thread)
from my side i think evolve would be the last one i would go for (sorry bybym3 this post is not meant to offend, just giving my input). jb4 and procede are the most well known, used, tried and tested with cobb in there too.

i dont doubt evolve, giac etc will get some nice power figures but i would prefer to use a tune that has the most positive feedback from their clients. evolve doesnt do that and is nowhere near the most popular. i wont paste links to some feedback as i doubt you will change your mind on your tune but all the best with your project. subscribed

ok will upload pics soon,

Current mods to date, yes only a month but the mods are on.
  • performance grill
  • suspension
  • h&r spacers
  • JB4 G5 board (test)
  • Akrapovic dp

still have to put in the water meth as a safety feature and the charge pipe.

Loving JB4 map 5, will take some logs. Car is very strong. In another thread will reveal all my kill stories.

Upncoming sorry i missed your calls, was out of the country for a while, did you come right, call me we must go for a spin one night, maybe after the fast.

i have popped the charged pipe using map 5 and 100 oct, i really need a proper c/p.

I have a Active autowerk intercooler for sale if anyone is interested, i went with HPF rather.

Ed_Z what settings are you running for your G5 board, i am not too glued up custom tuning.

But all i can say is with JB and DP with no meth and high oct i made close to 260+ KW on the wheels. I really want to reach the 500hp with standard turbos.

the p3 vent gauge is really good.

It beats a performance steering wheel as well.

You can do the following :

delete codes, read codes, 0-100kmh test, air temp, exst temp, engine temp, boost pressure, vacum pressure and so much more, one mod i would really recommend. Further more the believe a great mod for any manual n54/n55 is a BMS shorten clutch throw, only 10$ but its worth it.

Like you will see on my previous post sorry for jinxing you with the CP but they can't handle boost!!!
I run map 3 so if you wanna make HP on race gas mail Terry and ask him for a custom dyno race map after running logs and send them to him. Probably be under Map 6 then.
