So decided to get a bit of maintenance work done seen that the car is revving up the millage

Few months back, had the control arms replaced and I replaced my front discs and pads with Power Brake Discs coupled with EBC Yellow stuff pads.
Pros:
Car stops like a baaws, Performance wise they are great. No vibrations and fade under hard braking.
Cons:
Brake dust.....brake dust everywhere, not bad if you like your wheels to have a matt finish
:biglol:
I have also noticed a bit of squeal, I will be looking into servicing the calipers and guides with hope to have this solved.

The car had a slight oil leak that was diagnosed to be the Oil filter housing gasket. This seems to be a common issue on e90s.
I also got my engine mounts replaced, i figured these needed to be done as a preventative measure seen that car is now clocking over 243xxxkm, I was actually shocked to find that the old mounts were still in pretty good condition.

Got the rear brakes done as well. Was hoping to find matching discs but unfortunately Powerbrake do not manufacture discs for the rears.
I contacted my supplier for the EBS yellow stuff pads and he recommended their EBC slotted heat treated discs. which are now finally fitted. I think they look Great....
I will report on these once they are bedded in :coolShake:

I have a few other things that i would like to get done, as time and finance permit and in no specific order:

Diff fluid replacement
Gearbox fluid replacement
Brake Fluid Replacement
Trailing arm bushes
Gearbox mounts(after inspection)
Carbon Clean
New Boost and Charge pipes

Thanks G, its true, I think the saying goes for all cars. If you proactively do things to maintain the vehicle you can get lots of millage and years out of them.
I think the E90s are proving that their build quality are just as good as its predecessors
