WOW :praise::praise::praise: What a beautiful machine, not to mention a 6 pot.

Does she come with the anti-wheelie sensors too?

Yup She has a dynamic mode which will not intervene too much or if you feeling really lucky you can switch off traction totally. Normal riding like I do will just cut power to wheel to avoid you lifting the front up no matter how hard you red line it.

Sorry I don't have the "balls" to try

Hi guys
Just wanted to share my k1600gt.
Bike is like a 7 series in the bike world. Sweet ride and that 6 cylinder is smooth as silk.
Some features are keyless go with central locking, bi xenon adaptive headlights, tpms, heated seats and grips, electric windscreen, full on board computer with I drive like controller, abs and traction control, etc, etc.
This bike even has a reverse gear.

Beautiful bike, these big BMWs are not lazy hey. Was once on a KS1200RS which I am guessing is the same sort of thing...

Central locking? can you explain how that works on a bike

Congratulations, hope you have thousands of happy and safe miles on her!

I rode the Bagger at its launch in the Lowveld and although it rides better than I expected, it costs R325 000 - vs R306 000 for the GTL (now that's a proper 7-series!)

The Bagger makes no monetary sense to me.

Mechanically similar to your bike, but with "less".

But you need proper pipes on that bike. That engine sounds glorious when you wind it up, but you can't ride like that all day...

Pic is of me on the Bagger coming down Robber's Pass towards Pilgrims' Rest

uhm... noob battling to upload the pic :withStu:

Thats one of the main reasons I am thinking against it.
Dealer say the next lot of baggers will cost 355. The grand America will be 380.
Mine was 275 with a free systems 7 helmet. (I am selling that btw - if you know anyone interested At half the price)

So yes you right, really does not make sense especially if can't remove the panniers.

It's a 56/57 M.
Really a beaut of a helmet.
I just recently bought a schuberth C4 with the comms unit. Thats why I have no need for it.
