Hi Guys
Glad to see the fanatics are still at it. Its been a while since Ive been on the forum, and since then I am no longer a BMW owner...but still a BMW fanatic at heart.
I had to sell my Bimmer in hopes of getting another weekend car but the sale fell through(dealership sold that car days before I had to sign the paper work)
None the less I had a yearning for something German and decided to pull the trigger on a CLK (had my eye on a AMG version for nearly 2 years before I got this one)
As with any older German car it needed some maintenance and these are the things Ive done on the car since taking ownership:
Replaced valve covers(they were leaking oil)
Re-sealed breather chambers
Replaced breather hoses
Replaced radiator and hoses(radiator was leaking slightly)
Replaced Expansion tank/radiator reservoir(just for good measure)
Replaced Front brake disks and pads (These were expensive as they are the 2 piece ones with 6 pot calipers)
Overall I am very happy with the car, the reason for choosing a CLK was I was sold on the pillar less design meaning when you let all the windows down you have this big opening making it kinda feel like a convertible and looks so damn cool.
Anyway below are pics of my weekend cruiser:
