I love the N55...manual is as pure as you get this side of an M.

Update:

A few weeks ago, I did a base run at Mace to get a feel for where the power was at, before doing DP.

I needed to find out exactly what the cause for this BS was...

I called Lincoln at Jaylan Performance, and he said he's pretty sure the cats are blocked, and he will gladly check for me...
As soon as I could...I made my way to him...

...and this is what he found...
2E0F Valvetronic system deactivated, adjustment fault too frequent

He suggests that I get the car sorted first, before doing DP...

After chatting to a few guys, (and also learning that I have the weakest N55 in CT), i'm told its the VVT Eccentric shaft.

Pretty bummed out at this point, so I just went ahead and bought JB4 ANYWAY!!!

It hasn't been fitted yet...hopefully soon...

Oh...and I sold my springs...I felt the car is low enough for me as is. Maybe one day i'll get coilovers...

Next up, I eventually got the car booked in for my vvt/shaft thing issue. Turns out that there was no fault that could be picked up?:eek:mgwaiting:...with that, I asked that the JB4 be fitted.

When I collected the car the next day, I was as happy as could be :smilebounce:...car sounded better, and pulled violently!

That same evening I thought i'd do some spirited driving on the empty roads to see what all the hoohar was about with the JB4...

While driving, even at low speeds (50, 60km/h) I could feel the car 'jerking'...
Thinking it had something to do with the maps, I switched between map 1, 2 and 5...but on 5 it was the worst!

Took the car back a day later, and we found a little wire on the harness feeding the fuel rail was busted :blueCry:
It also messed up my footwell module, so by the time I left..
-drivers window wouldnt go up
-constantly beeped saying my door was open
-no backing lights
-no indicators
-no hazards
-headlights stayed on
-no autolocking
I parked the car for the weekend, and got it booked in and sorted the Monday morning

Harness for the JB was removed and i'm still waiting for a new loom to be sourced.

Decided to hit Killarney last week for the first time, but i'll take that to TLGP:ty:
