Love the stance and that it's red....

Black rims however are just not my thing but if you happy who cares

Thanks bud

I’m the opposite when it comes to black rims, had them on most my cars.
I was going to try something different this time round, but once I saw the satin black sample next to the car, I caved in and went yet again with the black.

I’ve got no complaints tho’, happy with the look.
If I can find decent forged aftermarket rims, then will change, but been searching for months and nothing yet piques my interest that would warrant that outlay of cash.

So I’ve just hit 7000 kms today and next month will have the car for a year.

I’m still thoroughly enjoying every moment of the experience. Got to go on 2 breakfast runs which was the most fun.

In terms of using it as a daily, I’m still not back at the office but do the school runs. It’s still comfortable, long term fuel consumption average of 11.9l/100kms, and basically you get the best of everything while enjoying a 2 seater sports car.
Never skipped a beat, will go for an oil change in couple of weeks and I’ve handed out a few beatings during my ownership.

Things that irritate me still, are the steering wheel and JBL sound system. Both which can be ‘fixed’.

So in 12 months of ownership, if anyone is considering a Supra, my advice is to get it. Prices are rising and I’m sure you have seen what the modded Supra’s are doing on the street and track.

Nothing more done to the car other than routinely maintaining the paintwork and making sure it’s washed properly.

that's a great update report. it's good to hear the car is still treating you well apart from the small nuances mentioned.

yup, I've noted people are running strong on the track with these modded.

damn, this car looks good bud!!!

Looking good!
If you don't mind me asking. Who sprayed your wheels?
I've been meaning to do mine for a while but just worried about stone chips and flaking due to heat

Rims are powder coated. Done by TMS in Centurion.
It’s been a couple of months and no flaking and thankfully no stone chips as well.
They have done rims for me previously and never had an issue, so for now they are my go to place for rim colour change.

Speaking of powder coating, do you know where I could get rims ceramic coated in Centurion or close by?

TMS in Centurion. They have changed their name to We Fix Wheels.
Used them a few time and no issues

I read your post too quickly and didn’t see you asked about ceramic coating
Black Pearl Master Detailing in Centurion will be able to sort you out.

Not a mod, but with the car no longer being used for the daily commute, I decided to get a car cover. The car tends to get extremely dusty while being parked off, so needed a solution.

So I order a custom car cover. Fit and quality is really good, and comes with a handy carry bag.
