So, you've seen my Alpina 2002, now comes a much more ambitious project. One of only 167 Carburettored csl's ever built, and the youngest VIN number on the M registry. I know the history of the car for the last three owners, but the last owner destroyed the car. Many parts missing, so the parts search begins.

Its a matching numbers car, so the effort will be worth it in the end. Please sit down and brace yourself before you check out the pics :fencelook:

Lets see if I can do this one in less than 10 years this time.:=):

Looks like you'll need all the help you can get bud.

Drop me a PM if you struggle to find original BMW parts. Rebuilding my 840ci, I made a fantastic contact in the UK and found that any part Auto Atlantic quoted me on, I could get cheaper, landed in SA, than agents would have charged me. I brought in an X5M kit for a mate at 3/4's of the price the agents quoted and also brought in a few parts for another guy who needed a few bits for his E39 M for less than the 'arm and leg' the agents wanted him to pay.

Hey guys

Haven't got much further yet due to work constraints and loads of travel. I have been researching parts and its history though and managed to come up with a photo of what it looked like three owners back, check it out:

Wrong wheels on it at the time, but probably the last decent picture of her before she was ruined

Good Luck:thumbs:

I could never do that I don't have the patients.

I am the guy that lets someone else spend 4000 man hrs on a project. and then i buy it from him complete for way to much money:roflol::roflol::roflol:
