Thanks Clutchy, This is the old 135 kw/5speed engine/box. Still want to search to see about the flaps. If it does have the swirl flaps I will remove them asap. Thinking of doing a map or something to up the power a bit!

Thanks guys, one or two things to do on the car.
1) Check if this one have swirl faps, 2002 330d manual
2) The front windows are a bit slow and need to get to that asap while I can still fix them.

My passenger side window also does this. Jarred advised that I leave it and sort it out when it breaks. Mines isn't too bad though. Goes down fine, but it's slow when going up.

I am now even more HAPPY with this 330d. The front windows were both very slow with the normal clicks and crackles being faulty. I have done both doors this past Sat, the cable-tie mod, and sprayed the runners with silicon spray. Must say that it is a great money saver and time well spend. The only part on this job that is a bit ^%^%$# is to get the inside cover off from the door. That black stuff sealing the inside of the door is really sticky!
