Not much happening here.

Fitted an AFE Momentum intake  looks nice and it's sealed

Also fitted new plugs and did oil change with new oil filter. Don't trust doing more then 15000km on oil :thumbdo: BMW does changes later then that :hammerhead:

That afe intake looks proper
Any noticeable difference
How much km you on now?
Thought the plugs would last longer

Did logs with BMS and AFE and very similar. Less dumping though with AFE.
Plugs got changed cos I wanted them changed. I ran nf twice and car felt weird after that so changed them. So only eth for me

Cool, good to know.
I see my plugs are only due for a change this year December...
I wanted those other ones you were selling but had to wait till month end and they got sold by then, so im glad they getting changed under MP this year still otherwise I would of felt I needed to change them sooner rather than later now.

You have further plans for you 1er?

Not much updates as time is so scarce these days :thumbdo:

Did fit a JB4 Bluetooth device for logging etc. Prefer it to the cable which was only for android phones. Now I can use my iPhone :=):

I got home earlier for once and removed front grilles and removed old white wrap as it was looking dull and redid the bars :cartel:

Looks fresh again:rollsmile:

Cleaned the bars:

Redid the white wrap:

Grilles back on:

Car was dropped off at Clean Car Tech last night for cermaic coating on the paint. So the usual clay, decontamination, cut and then 2 layers ceramic coating :cartel:

Fetching Beemer on Saturday just before BMW show :crazylaugh::=):

Will post some pics with final product

Clean Car Tech FTW!!!!!

Will be collecting my car from Clean Car Tech tomorrow evening. Ceramic coating done

Service has been outstanding with update pics throughout the process:=):

Some pics of the process:

First up was a wash and clay with paint decontamination:

Wheel:

Paint work. Crazy to think how I look after my paint and still paint has absorbed deposits:

Exhaust tip:

Then was the cutting of the paint to get rid of any surface scratches and swirls:

Car was then prepped again and taped up for cermaic coating:

Cermaic coating applied to all panels. Pics of roof and bonnet.

She's still in the curing process, and so far, she looks amazing! Just going to iron out one or two small touches and we're good to go
