My new BMW 340i LCI

Hi Guys. It was with a heavy heart that I sold my E90 330d LCI. It was always going to be difficult to replace a car like that. In the 3 years I had it, it never let me down. After many diesels I jumped ship to a petrol. However, change is good. I was initially looking for a M140i, but the the 1 series spec was quite low. I therefore found a 340i and I was hooked. The car is a 2016 model, M Sport, with almost every possible extra that can be added to a 3 series. LED lights, HUD, lane departure warning, reverse camera, NAV, Harman Kardon sound just to name a few. Previous owner also added the M Performance rear silencer. First impressions: Car sounds epic. Power is strong and linear throughout the rev range. The biggest jump has to be the ZF 8 speed. Its a huge leap from the E90 6 speed unit. In terms of performance I think it will be a little faster than the 330d which had software. I will however miss the consumption of the diesel. Below are some pics and a sound clip.

What a car bud. It really is the only car I would consider if I were to sell my 330d :tiptoe:

Many happy miles!

Thanks for all the well wishers. I want to put it on the dyno just to see want the B58 actually makes. Wont be planning any mods as I wont risk the MP. :ty:

I'll wait for the next fanatics dyno day. That way the dyno police will there on site to verify the numbers so there can be no confusion. :roflol:
