Nope i had to miss it, I had a Round Table conference! was at the first one, heard that this one was WAY better!

SMG not so bad actually, spend so far: R+- 25k, got about another R20 k to go which is the clutch kit,grrrrr!

Otherwise all is good, the basic of the car was all in order, so i had a good "canvas" to start with!

I'm from durban, but did attend supa drift. It was awesome, dezzi is legend.
It's just that i'm planning a resto similar to yours, so i'm gona take alot of cues from your thread. Might even send the car up to sheppie if you car comes out showroom quality:rollsmile:

I have a file with a lot of receipts and contacts that I have built up during this build, quite a few ebay suppliers as well, i will gladly share this info with you or any other fanatic that needs it, example i got a set of door rubbers form the states perfect condition, R2750 odd in my hand VS R11500.00 from SMG. IU will make contact with you once my car is done and we can hook up and you can have a look!

iam glad you had a relatively good canvas to start with :thumbs: that clutch needed a very strong left foot.

I went to the panel shop today and things are progressing quite nicely. Very chuffed with all the new rubbers and the sunroof works! Roof lining in and the build continues!!!!!

Gents, my boot tool kit just arrived from the States!!

All inclusive $32, have now received all my overseas goodies! Long Live Ebay! LOL

I was most fortunate to hook up with a fellow fanatic who recognised my car as he had owned it before, he sent some pics of the condition she was in when he bought her and started doing some work to her himself. Thanks for the pics good sir!
