MY LATEST LIGHTING INNOVATION

ok. some of you may know that i have a VW MK2 GOLF with a VR6 engine and transmission system implanted into it. BUT, the lights suck compared to my E90 LCI bi-xenons.

so i decided to get a set of E90 LCI bi-xenon projectors and retrofit them into my MK2 GOLF headlights. alot of hacking had to be done to install this monster 3" projector inside.

i will post more pics of the install when the D1S 6000K system is in place and i am able to test the lights. so far, i think it looks tops. see for yourself but pictures don't do it justice:

i am still waiting for the D1S to universal ballast connectors. i have the D1S bulbs and the ballasts already but no adapter. after fitting the xenon kit in i will align the projectors, mount the unit to the base, and then glue the glass to the housing. if all goes well should have it up and running by next week.

thanks for the advise. i think angel eyes on a MK2 is a bit overdoing it. maybe one day. the DRL thing looks better.

anyways, these bowls are from a MK1 golf. i bought a set of MK1 crystal headlights just for the glass lens but then decided to use the bowls as well. if i messed those up at least i still had my OEM ones in good nick and still on the car.

it is very easy to make but just requires time and patience as glass breaks easily. only problem is that the E90 LCI projectors are flippin expensive but the quality it great. i could put the MH1 projectors in them but then that would kill the effect i am trying to create.

all that being said: i can make a set for you as per your requirements. you can even choose the shroud and projector you want.
