So two months down the line, the car is starting to look original, so many issues have been fixed already at an insane cost, just have to redye the leather and repair/replace the front bumper now. Also waiting on some plastic covers for the engine and engine bay from Germany.

Since I got her

1) Spoiler, side repeaters and tail lights replaced
2) Factory radio and shuttle refitted aftermarket crap removed, wiring loom for radio rebuilt, BMW shuttle fitted
3) Engine front pulley, timing gear and chain, plugs and filters all replaced
4) Plug wires replaced
5) Interior door cards refurbed
6) Rust below windscreen repaired
7) Tons of electrics IHKA, ECU, Resonance flap electrics, all contacts in both E boxes and wiper motor all repaired
8) Rear self levelling acumulators replaced
9) Centre prop bearing replaced
10) Gearbox oil replaced, engine oil replaced three times
11) Diff oil replaced with correct LSD oil
12) Front suspension replaced
13) Rear shelf replaced with an OEM one
14) Bonnet struts replaced
15) Gear lever replaced
16) Glove compartment replaced
17) All bulbs replaced in the entire car (expensive)
18) All vacuum hoses replaced
19) New wheels temporary till I can source throwing stars
20) New battery
21) New alternator
22) Replace SLS and steering oil
23) Replace all badges
24) Sunroof replaced
25) Centre silencer, replaced
26) New radiator cowling
27) New viscous clutch and fan
28) New windscreen lower valance clips
29) New acelerator cable and pedal
30) DWA alarm unit replaced
31) Window mechanisms rebuilt, lubricated and door cavities rust proofed

And more, restoring one of these things is not for the faint hearted, yes you can find one for 45K but trust me they are all screwed, my quest for a clean one of these has become quite a larger project than I ever anticipated.

Wow, Rick, that is a hell of a lot of work done in a very short time! Car looked really neat at the Starlight gathering. Well done on all the blood and sweat, and for saving this rare and beautiful car. :bravo:
