Keep fighting them! And since they are already giving you hassles with the rear window seal, insurance now has a reason to tackle them too!

Good luck!!

Show insurance pics of car on truck and ask if money is paid to them and no service is rendered is that not fraud ? The car is worse off now , the insurers must accept that common sense says the panel beater cannot give bad sevice and have you running up and down . Can you take unpaid leave and claim that from insurance due to their service provider's bad service - they will tell you to go jump .
Maybe we all need to take pics if something like this happens and when the car is at panelbeaters they must sign a document that there are no other dented panels etc - but they say cars stored at owners risk :bangdesk:.
good luck

What's crap about this you have to take it back there for repair... :argh:
I would give the insurance hell, and tell them I insist on taking the car to another panelbeater, because I am scared that these guys might damage or sabotage my car because I am fighting with them.
Good luck anyways.

Always a good tip - when talking to these people on the phone, stand while talking. Sounds silly, but it does help when one needs to come across in a more assertive manner!! Good luck!!

this thread is slowly sliding away from the original idea.

it started about an accident, and the repair work related to the accident... all good.

Now we are talking about standing and holding our balls, essentially raising our pitch whilst talking assertively on the phone....

This is why I love this forum and would go mad if I wasnt here during the day.

Okay, good luck! Try and see if you can arrange your insurance to send out their assessor to join you when you go through on Monday. At this stage they really do need to assist you! And remind them that you are actually paying them for this! Good luck!

Sorry to hear about all your problems ! This is unacceptable work.
There are some good company's in Cape Town.
I had an accident in December with the Ford Bantam and a company in Killarney Gardens did an excellent job. ( Sorry cannot mention the name the chief will "Skiet die bliksem.")
I took the E90 320d there on Monday to respray the front bumper (stone chips) and rear bumper (some deep scratches) and got it back the next day with a perfect job done on the "Sparkling Graphite".
Hope these guys sort out your problems.
