Thanks for all the comments guys :)
Still so stoked with her, might need to organise a nice long road trip to somewhere this weekend. Dropped my girlfriend off last night on a nice empty N1 - wow.... the true colours of the 525 really do come out. Such an awesome cruiser!!

For the interior, what do you guys think about the wood? Keep it or change it to something else?

I think the wood suits the car, and I like it. But it might be because I previously had a car with zero options, base model and it had plastic interior and I always envied the wood trim. Plus, these were the last cars (correct me if I'm wrong) that still has proper wood interiors, albeit veneer coated with very thick clearcoat on an alu backing. I feel it is much better than the wood used in the E65 7series for instance (which looks like printed paper). (If you know the amount of labour that goes into making it look like it does.) It really saddens me when I see guys respraying them, because I know not even a proper paint shop would be able to get the same quality finish as the originals.

I know there are lots of people who don't like the wood inserts, prefer the more modern materials - I like it, sort of reminds a person that you aren't driving some silly overpriced econobox!!

And for god sakes jeff.. NO MODIFYING THIS ONE!!!! :nono:
No Neons:hammerhead:
No Shark fin aerial with LED :censored:
NO C/F vinyl :dunno:

Fixed that for you S///Mon ;)
Haha, it's an awesome ride dude. Still smile each time I drive it!

FFS, would never, ever do that to the car! Maybe a de-cat on the exhaust, or even a free flow. I'm so happy with her as is though - I think I'm growing up :)

I used to dislike the wood, but its kind of grown on me. I think that it looks cool with the wood, however the CF interior trim also looks good.

once again, congrats on an awesome ride.

Nice cool car buddy and no the wood trim really packs in prestige with these vehicles don't change it.

Happy Beemin'

Nice clean car , wood stays as it is - thats why you do not see it in a shittygolf !! The car is a cruiser , not a M robot racer so modding actually defeats the object of the car .
Once the car is washed , polished and interior cleaned you will amaze everyone if you keep it like that - a 10 year old bm looking better than a new soulless econobox .
