Great upgrades but glad you found most of the issues.

Can I ask though, did your car have any idle issues...or basically stutters on idle due to this solenoid being vrot?

I didn't get any idle issues no, Only a very erratic boost curve and it didn't want to hold much boost.

So fitted the springs today, Yoh why a mission if you're used to old VW's way of front suspension.

Also found out my meth isn't working, the car wasn't feeling as strong as it was before.

So went back to Thanas Jhb for my file after adding the water meth. Car is alot stronger than before. But I think it could benefit from an uprated intercooler and EWG turbo.

Well done, that is great power! Very similiar to mine as well with the DP. You right about that uprated turbo, I am keen to see the difference. Nice going!

So I managed to stumble onto some BC racing BR series coilovers and could not say no to those.

I also decided to check my plugs as I dont know the history of the car and boy oh boy am I glad I did. They were a tad old I would say. Also sorted out a boostleak issue and cracked my actuator a little so it holds more boost. But there PWG turbos aren't great to say the least.

That is about all that has changed for now.

I must say every time I drive it, It puts a smile on my face. It needs alot of stuff still but I feel its coming together and I hope to be able to get on track soon with it.

Managed to find an EWG Hybrid for the car, Hopefully this gets me over that 300kw mark.

Went to the Vilaca Racing day at Formula K. And damn it was alot of fun the car handled very well on the Semi's. Managed to finish 6th in the RWD class.

Definitely need to look at what can be done to improve. Sofar the worst is the stock seats don't offer alot of support so I'm sliding around a bit.

Did a bit of a cold start video this morning. Also made a small overflow for the power steering fluid that seems to breathe out of the reservoir when on track.

Went to the Vilaca racing round 3 event at VKC. Was alot of fun, Managed a best of 58.7.

Fitted some Ferodo DS2500 pads and I must say sofar they feel great. Will have to wait for Zwartkops to see what happens.

Have to daily the car for a bit to get the pads all worn in nicely

Brakes felt good, What didn't feel as good was the lack of an LSD. Really need to look at that.

But First time to replace bearings and hopefully get the hybrid fitted on.
