Good afternoon gents,
So the weather finally gave me a chance to take my new girl for a wash & wax so that I could get some pics up.
I was looking for a 335i when a fellow fanatic got in touch with me regarding selling his prized e90 330d.
After getting all the required details such as motorplan printout, service history, detailed pictures etc etc. Last Saturday, my father & I drove down from Centurion to Colesberg to meet the seller half way, we left at around 06:30 and arrived in Colesberg by 14:15 (relaxed drive), the seller arrived at 16:00 as we arranged.
Had a chat, made sure everything was as it was supposed to be and we set off again for Bela Bela, Limpopo (150km from Centurion, my parents have a farm there).
What an absolute beast of a car! The drive back was probably the most fun I've ever had on the open road!
Arrived on the farm by 01:15, was absolutely exhausted... 1600km in 1 day is not for the fainthearted.
Consumption: Cruise control was set to 135km/h, along with lots of spirited driving.... those pesky trucks on the N1... just have to pass them... before they slow me down :crazylaugh::rollsmile: my consumption for +- 820km was 5.5L/100km... amazing! Especially considering the speed and spirited driving.

2011 BMW 330d
96 000 km on the clocks (was on 94 xxx when I took delivery)
Motorplan until Feb 2017 / 110 000km
The car is in absolute MINT condition!
Apologies for the crappy quality pictures, they are from my phone and the light was terrible but I had to hurry as the storm was on its way to Centurion this afternoon.
Unsure about doing mods... worried things might break due to mods... I'm considering DP, Exhaust and software but I really cannot have the car break down on me for days on end.
I'll be taking the gearbox to ZF for a service once the car reaches 100 000km.
