Hi,
This car was sold before I picked up my 320d back in Jan 2018.
The pictures popped up on my Facebook memories.
Don't think I shared these on this forum before.
Anyway, it was my first sporty car. In hindsight, it is just a FWD hatchback with sporty looks and moderate performance.
Electric gremlins, coolant issues, high oil consumption and DSG failure (including stuck paddles) were experienced throughout my ownership with this car, that was bought brand new. I had an Audi A4 1.8T manual B8 before this and it had similar issues. Wife had the A3 1.4TFSI 8V manual and that also had its fair share of electric gremlins, as well as a clutch issue.
I enjoyed this car, but the aftersales experience put me off Audi. Unless it is a proper RS car, the bread-and-butter models are quite problematic.
On the plus side - Excellent interior build quality and the DSG, when it works, is pretty quick - even though the motor had only 118kw, it felt like more when sprinting off the line.
Still a good looker though...
