Quick update...

Had the car detailed the other day. Guy was recommended by Kyle (Lowflyer). Took 2 full days. He came home and did a fantastic job. I can highly recommend him to any of u guys based on his passion for his work, bearing in mind this is pretty much his hobby.

Started by degreasing the wheels, tyres and arches. Then washed the wheels. Then iron removal on the rims.

Next the car was hit with the high pressure hose, foamed and rinsed. 2 bucket wash was next. Then iron removal followed by claybar.

Car was then preped for compound and polish

Lastly it was the alcohol wipe down, application of the ceramic coating and then buffed to perfect finish.

Overall, 99% of all swirls were removed. There were a few scratches that weren't able to be worked out. But im still happy with the end results. Paint is alot brighter, smoother and glossier.

Heres 2 clips showing how well the ceramic coating repels water. There was a little dust on the car so it was literally a rinse and she was back to spotless.

Or was it normal wax like Collonite, etc?

Looking really nice.
I use Fusso on mine and although it really repels water well i cant remember it being as much as that
