My e90 325i

Reason being, I suspect that the average fuel consumption is only accurate to a point, so best is to reset it at each fill up. It's also fun to see the average go from an extremely high to an extremely low reading! Best that I saw, pulled off with some "enthusiasm" and I saw the average jump to 37 l/100 km! Then settled down at 60km/h for a few kays - dropped right down to 6.9 l/100 km!!

37 l/100km is normally the max it can display, for some real fun go the the hidden OBC functions and get the digital readout for the instantaneous consumption, then do a spirited pull-away

How do we play with the e90's computers? I don't know if it has a hidden menu. This is propably only doable with an OBD II cable or something.

The BMW group called me today to ask me to perfom a little survey.
I think they are doing a great job in following up (then again, I am pretty used to no customer service and would therefore find this unusual anyway.)

I tought to myself - now is the time to complain.
So I moaned about them pasting a fskn dealership add in my rear window without my permission and them leaving the battery cover off after recharging the battery.

It is small things, but hey how would they improve their service to customers if they don't know these things.

Thank you for following up BMW LH Hatfield :ty:

The AC condenser is leaking & the engine is making some VERY weird noises again...
I will try to upload a vid with this engine sound as soon as I get a chance.
Stanby for round number 3

Thanks Colin,
If Fountains can fix this car, then I will keep it.
I hope they have the best technicians, I am getting to a point of giving up with this car and trade it in, but I will proably loose all of my deposit.

Monday will be the day.

Had enough - sold it :banghead: :yikes:
Counted the blessings, counted the losses and walked away...:argh:

Thanks for the support guys, but I could not see the way out of this one, besides replacing the motor or something drastic.

Guys,
Being a true fanatic and you chaps being so supportive, here is the gen:
I bought a 320d, 2009 exclusive - details are a surprise and will be on a new thread coming soon , which will hopfully be a joyfull one

I took a loss, that's for sure, I should have taken it back, I suppose, but I just got fed up with this car being serviced more than what it is driven.
Leo Haese Hatfield gave me 120k for my 2006 e90 with MP up to Aug 2012.
If you give me 10k more you can have it, but then again I won't sell my broken car to a fanatic.

:praise:

Just took the bullet and did it, I want a reliable car - period.
I believe the newer one is, with has MP up until 2014.

Will worry how to pay for all of this later.

@Leonard - thanks for offering, if my finance don't get approved, you will see me for a careful analysis of this car. I seriously think the motor is damaged, and it is not my driving style, driving it normally.
