Here are some pics of the 325i that I took delivery of on 25 Aug 2011: :joy: :joy:

I had a bit of a rough week, and did not spend much time on taking good pics.

Coisman helped me with some detailed re-badgeing - thanks bud :ty:
I extended the Motorplan - this is my first. I have been DIY'ing most things and it actually feels weird not to scratch under the bonnet.

Today I struck some misfortune in that the motor keeps cutting out, misfiring and running irratic. I Called up BMW assist and had it towed to the dealership. Hopefully it is nothing too serious and that I get it back soon.

Congrats man looking good

Too bad about the cutting out, hope it is not too serious and it gets sorted quickly :(

Frikkie, you now just need to get the same exhaust tips that herr bmw has on his, they really look a lot better than standard.

 I like the brushed look tips, actually want to get myself some, looks a heck of a lot better than the chrome.

I know you are a bit sad because you just got her and already she is giving you crap, but this will be a great way for you to comment on Leo Haese Hatfield's service, as well as how the motorplan works. :excited:
Keep us posted buddy. :thumb:

Looks very very nice! Trying to work out what colour that is - looks like a light metallic grey or blue??

Hope they get the engine hiccup sorted out quickly for you!!

@ Philip Folgar: It's Arctic Silver - I have to believe them

@herr: I like Style 162 ellipsoid better, to me the current ones look like pretty flowers. The dealer were unable to assist with a swop.
For example:

@All:
Thanks for all the good comments.
I received an SMS late afternoon stating that a Technician is busy with my car. Just hope they keep the T-shirt rag away from it

I am very interested in the exhaust tips mod.
What does a brushed look tip look like?

If I have something done to those tips, it has to be someone that knows what they are doing - those tail ends are rather close to the bumper. :fencelook:

Nah, the rags are kept for the diesels

The tips look like this (poached one of herr's pics):

Congrats man, she really is a beauty. Take care of her. It will probably be the best car you ever had.
