My E60 Mods and Upgrades

The diesel now has:

Complete M5 Brake Setup Front and Rear
Complete M5 Interior including Sill Panels
Motorsport Sills and Front Bumper with M5 rear bumper
M5 19" with Potenza 245/40/19 Runflats in front and 285/40/19 runflats at rear

Recent Maintenance/Improvements and approximate costs

Transmission Fluid and filter change @ SMG +/-R10k
New Brake Disc, Disc Pads and sensor for the front +/- R12k
Addition of the M5 Right Rear Silencer Boxes +/- R10k (inclusive of the fitment of M5 Rear Battery Tray)
Refurbishment of Rims - R4k
New Tyres all-round - R22k
New Windscreen - R4k
New Mudflaps - Front and Rear - R1.5k
.... excludes the new parts supplied to Panelshop.

Issues

Using 285/40/19 vs 285/35/19 has improved the ride at the rear, however the speedo is rather pessimistic (underread by about 9.5%)

Twin Turbo - I have the Turbos - Still need to verify other requirements
Cat Removal
DPF ???

Spending +/- R70k on M parts could've bought a lot of 95 instead

Yes, the diesel is much more frugal. This is one of my daily drivers. If I feel the need for some blistering performance then I use my E55-factory-delimited. . The diesel is no slouch and delivers power and torque without any squeals.
